International Blues Challenge

The Colorado Blues Society's "Journey to Memphis II" FINALS competition to send some lucky individual and band to Memphis in 2009 is complete. Thanks for your support of all of our local bands in their quest to represent Colorado at the Blues Foundation's International Blues Challenge in Memphis next year. The final winners are The Johnny O. Band and Ben Stevens. Let's all root for them to bring ANOTHER international championship back to Colorado.

Cover charges and tips collected in all competitions go to help offset travel costs for the winning acts to go to Memphis (the IBC finals are Feb. 4-7, 2009 in Memphis; tickets and details at Blues.Org).

Thanks again for your Support for our great local Blues!
